How can I tell if my child has an abscess?

Sometimes we get parents crying because they feel so terrible they didn’t know their child’s tooth was abscessed. If a child can’t speak yet, it can be very hard to tell!

Here are some signs to look for

  1. GUMBOIL – this is the actual pus forming around the root of a tooth

2. BAD BREATHE and or CHILD HAS A BAD TASTE IN HER/HER MOUTH

This is from the combination of the tooth decay and pus
