HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)
We would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween from Briargate Pediatric Dentistry http://www.briargatepediatricdentistry.com
Here is a question we often get asked about brushing teeth after you eat candy:
Quesiton: Should you brush right after you eat candy?
Answer: Brushing immediately can cause you to brush away parts of the tooth enamel, increasing damage to your teeth. Wait about an hour to brush. This will give your mouth a chance to use its own defenses. Chew Xylitol gum (like Trident or Orbit), drink milk or eat cheese after eating sour candy.
Umm an excuse to eat string cheese?! Yes please:)
